Thomson Gray make Building Awards 2010 Shortlist

We have been nominated in the category for Construction consultant/surveyor of the year (fewer than 100 staff)

Established by Building magazine, the Building Awards recognise the industry‘s top performers and encourages sustained performance and further development throughout the sector. The evening is acclaimed to be the business networking event of the year and presents a chance to rub shoulders with and applaud the best in the industry. The event continues to attract more than 1,500 senior industry figureheads. Award winners have benefitted from the most converted and prestigious accolade.

New hospital team bolstered by key appointment

NHS Lothian has appointed a key external adviser in another step forward for its £150m plus new children’s hospital. Cost consultants Thomson Gray will be helping NHS Lothian drive a hard bargain with construction partners on the new hospital, set to open in late 2012.

The Edinburgh company has been appointed as cost advisers to the NHS team planning the replacement for the current Victorian building. The new Royal Hospital for Sick Children will be located next to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh at Little France. You can read the rest of this article here

Thomson Gray move up League Tables

We are also in the Top 100 Surveyors list at 85th. We also featured at 7th in Building Magazine’s “Top Quantity Surveyors for the period 1 November 2008 to 31 October 2009″.
