Thomson Gray recently took part in the annual Little Britain Challenge Cup – a sailing regatta dedicated to raising money for the LBCC sailing charities. This year’s regatta was held in West Cowes, at Shepards Marina, and racing held on the Solent, around the cans, with courses set in both the east and west of central Solent.  The regatta raises thousands of pounds each year for sailing charities, such as the Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust, the Cirdan Sailing Trust, the RNLI plus a host of smaller Isle of Wight sailing charities including Cowes Sailability. Surplus profits and donations are shared between the charities, with the Challenge Cup raising over £1.25m over the past 30 years.
