Winchburgh Junction conception to completion webinar

22/02/23

Director Ian MacGregor is taking part in the upcoming webinar titled ‘The M9 Winchburgh Junction: conception to completion’ organised by ICE on Thursday 23 February.

The presentation will look at the challenges faced in taking the junction from concept through to construction, discussing the background of the new junction outlining the need for this critical piece of transport infrastructure in terms of supporting the growth of the village of Winchburgh in West Lothian.

The new M9 motorway junction, ‘Junction 1B’, opened earlier this month for northbound local access, with southbound routes into Winchburgh to follow in the next couple of months.

In a phased opening, motorised vehicles are now able to access the northbound routes entering and exiting the M9, with southbound routes in and out of Winchburgh to follow in the spring.
