Thomson Gray have been appointed since 2013 as Cost Advisors to Grandhome Developments (Aberdeen) Limited for the delivery of core infrastructure for the proposed new community at Grandhome, Aberdeen.
Work has commenced on site for Phase 1A which will lead to the development of the first 200 homes out of a total long term masterplan of 7,000 homes.
The core infrastructure includes for 800m of main roads, drainage, incoming services and landscape works between various house builders plots. Local Civil Engineering Contractor, WM Donald started work in September 2016 and continue to deliver the infrastructure ready for the house builders to start on site in 2017.
Funding has been put in place by Scottish Government which was recently reported on in Project Scotland after a visit to the site by Housing Minister, Kevin Stewart
