Thomas Bruce
An Assistant Health and Safety Consultant, Thomas joined Thomson Gray in 2026. He has gained experience in a range of sectors and types of projects.
Thomas graduated with Honours in Mechanical Engineering at Heriot Watt University in 2020.
He previously worked in a hybrid role as a labourer/health and safety supervisor, gaining an understanding of the construction industry and an appreciation for the importance of health and safety in construction.
From there he spent 2 years in the industry as an Assistant Construction Safety Consultant, gaining a wider array of knowledge and experience in fulfilling the Principal Designer/CDM Advisor Role. During this time, he gained his Health and Safety Management for Construction (UK) Certificate, NEBOSH. He worked on projects in the defence industry, in education and in social housing.
At Thomson Gray he looks to gain new skills and further experience in delivering the Principal Designer role by contributing to a wide array of projects for a variety of sectors and taking on any training opportunities that arise.
