Thomson Gray named among big risers in Building Magazine's Top 150 Consultants 2026

02/11/26

Thomson Gray has climbed 11 places to 83rd in Building Magazine’s Top 150 Consultants 2026. Having met fee income growth of 44%, we are proud to be recognised as one of the ranking’s standout performers.

This success extends across several key rankings. In the Top 50 Project Managers category, Thomson Gray rose 11 places from 35th to 24th, while our building and quantity surveying teams also achieved significant progress, moving from 39th to 32nd in the Top 50 Surveyors rankings.

These achievements not only reflect the strength, expertise and breadth of services delivered by our talented team, but underline Thomson Gray’s continued growth across a wide range of sectors and services. As a privately owned Scottish consultancy, we are delighted to be ranked among the UK’s leading and most respected construction consultants. We remain committed to excellence and value the trust our clients place in us.

Demand for our construction quality management service has grown significantly, contributing to increased fee income. We are also continuing to expand our service offering. Our Infrastructure Investment Advisory service is now available, and we see this as an exciting area for future growth.
Ross Lovatt, senior director

Our growth marks the next chapter for Thomson Gray, as we look forward to a 2027 of continued collaboration, an expanded service offering and a clear focus on our clients’ evolving needs.
