John has been a Quantity Surveyor/ Cost Consultant since graduating in 1990. Joining Thomson Gray in 2007, his career has seen him develop a range of additional skills beyond Cost Consultancy which include providing Employers Agent, Project Manager and Project Monitor as part his services. Working on a variety of projects within the public and private sectors throughout his career, John currently has the role of developing the private sector side of the business.

John, who lives near Peebles, is also the Director responsible for the southern arm of the business, working out of our Melrose office and he works closely with public sector clients as well as private developers within the Scottish Borders and North Northumberland.
