A significant milestone has been reached in the restoration of Ross Fountain in Edinburgh’s Princes Street Gardens on behalf of The Ross Development Trust.
The 11ft statue on top of the 19th Century fountain known as “Elsie” was lifted into place on the 22nd of May 2018 as the £1.9m refurbishment project enters its final few weeks on site.
The civils work is being undertaken by Glasgow based Kelsen Technical Ltd with Wigan based Lost Art responsible for the fountain restoration.
