Promotions and Strategic Hires at Thomson Gray
2025 was a landmark year for Thomson Gray, marked by exciting projects and significant team growth.
We worked on a wide range of projects across the country including the completion of The Royal Yacht Britannia Visitor Experience in Edinburgh and continued to further expand our services in the North of Scotland, all while celebrating our 21st year in business.
We pride ourselves in the growth of our diverse workforce, now having over 80 members of staff from around the world, expanding in every department of the business. Several staff achieved chartership status in 2025, displaying their inspiring commitment to professional excellence. We were delighted to have been ranked 94th in Building Magazine’s prestigious Top 150 Consultants list for 2025, a testament to our team’s commitment to delivering a high standard of service to our clients.
To reflect this progress and growth, we are delighted to announce several promotions across the team, with Andrew Blair promoted to senior associate in the building surveying team.
As the project management team expands, Michelle Forbes, Aimée Wallace, Dominic Morrocco and Melanie Fecker have all been promoted to senior project manager. The team also welcomes multiple new hires, with James Jackson joining as a senior associate and Craig Wilson as an associate, based in our Glasgow office. We have also welcomed Callum Downie as an assistant project manager.
In the quantity surveying team, Scott Jamieson has been promoted to senior quantity surveyor, whilst several graduates take on more responsibility with Chris Cameron, Reetta Saikku, Joseph Chiriseri and Cameron Graham all becoming quantity surveyors, and Cameron Littlejohn a building surveyor.
These promotions reflect the individual achievements of the team, along with the wider growth and strategic aims of the business. Providing opportunity for growth and development for our team is important to us, allowing individuals to grow with the business. We hope to continue this into 2026 as we expand further.
