Jamie Dempster
Jamie is a quantity surveyor and joined Thomson Gray as a graduate in 2018. As a project surveyor, he is responsible for running projects within several sectors both pre- and post-contract.
Jamie graduated with a degree in civil engineering and gained an honours degree in quantity surveying at Edinburgh Napier University.
His experience ranges from the NHS, public sector works and housing to larger scale masterplanning and infrastructure upgrade works.
His roles during the pre-contract stage involve providing cost estimates, billing and preparing tender documentation. Post-contract duties include dealing with variations, valuations, cost reporting and ensuring financial control of the ongoing project through communication with the wider design team.
Jamie is currently working towards his chartership status through the RICS Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) training programme.
