Following an initial feasibility study carried out in early 2015 Thomson Gray were appointed by Edinburgh Leisure later in the same year to manage the replacement of a defective single-ply flat roof deck and underlying insulation (circa 990m²) to the east accommodation block of the internationally renowned Edinburgh International Climbing Centre, Ratho.
